Grandma Mahomes continues to have an impact

Debbie Martin has had a profound life. Over the years, Martin has allured many souls with her jovial, perceptive, and fun-loving personality. While her family might be considered her biggest achievement, Martin had a long-standing impact on the world of education, working as the Troup Middle School Secretary and Whitehouse High School Registrar for 41 years. She devoted the last five years of her life to Rader Funeral Home, the same place that put out a memorial service for her.

Despite dealing with grief, Randi Mahomes believes her mother’s life should be celebrated, and what better avenue than education? Randi Mahomes has set up a scholarship fund to honor her mother and the entire thing would be used for the education of someone.

“Starting a scholarship fund to honor my momma… every dollar will be given to a student in my moms name,” said Randi Mahomes on Twitter.

The fundraiser has since seen a lot of support as many have come forward to donate to the noble cause. While Randi Mahomes has found an amazing way of honoring her mother’s memories, Patrick Mahomes continues making his grandmother proud with another admirable feat.

Another achievement for Patrick Mahomes

Over the years, Patrick Mahomes has garnered many accomplishments to his name. His most recent one however puts him on par with not just NFL royalty, but an influence that surpasses the realms of imagination.

The Time‘s List of the 100 most influential people of 2023 was released and Mahomes found himself among the honorees with fellow sports icons Paris Saint-German, Lionel Messi, and Brittney Griner. Interestingly enough it was Peyton Manning who pushed for Mahomes to be on the list, and rightfully so.

Mahomes’ family seemed to be the most delighted, as his mother Randi Mahomes showcased her pride on social media while speculating the joy this would have brought to the passed-away Debbie Martin.
