Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks have endured a mixed start to their 2021 NFL campaign. The reigning NFC West champions are currently on a 1-2 record. They sit at the bottom of their division behind rivals, the San Francisco 49ers.

The Seahawks succumbed to their second consecutive defeat of the season in Week 3. They lost to a resurgent Minnesota Vikings outfit by a 17-30 scoreline last weekend. They will look to bounce back in the coming weeks as Russell Wilson aims for another shot at making the Super Bowl.

Russell Wilson wishes teammate Tyler Lockett on his Birthday

Oklahoma-born wide receiver Tyler Lockett arrived in the NFL as a 3rd round pick (69th overall) in 2015. He was drafted by the Seahawks with coach Pete Carroll keen to add to his offensive options.

Lockett made hide debut 6 years ago and had a breakthrough year in his debut season itself. He was the only rookie to be named to the Associated Press All-Pro first team. Since then, Lockett along with teammate DK Metcalf have formed a strong triplet with quarterback Russell Wilson.

The 32-year old took to Twitter with a birthday wish for Lockett who turned 29 on Tuesday. Lockett has been part of all three opening games for the Seahawks this campaign. He has 309 receiving yards to his name, having caught 3 touchdown passes from DangeRuss Wilson.
