It now appears to be real, if it wasn’t before. Adams, who lived in northern California and graduated from Fresno State, always wanted to play for the Silver and Black. He won’t be returning to the Bay, but he’ll be pairing with Derek Carr, the quarterback with whom he has spent the most time in his past days aside from Aaron Rodgers.

A goodbye penned by Davante Adams

Davante Adams is on his journey to Las Vegas; Trading first and second-round picks to Green Bay for the great wide receiver and then settling to a five-year, $141.25 million contract for him. Adams is now the highest-paid wideout in NFL history.

The athlete took to Instagram, sharing a message for the Packers organization for the phone call in 2014, which revolutionized his life. He also pays gratitude to the roster members, as the relationships he made there will stick with him for the rest of his life.

Did the Raiders gain big?

The Raiders may have the league’s best group of playmakers. Derek Carr has always been one of the division’s best quarterbacks. With Davante Adams in the Raid, the franchise can certainly double-team the wideout and behemoth tight end, Darren Waller.

This offseason has shown that in the NFL, sitting on the sidelines isn’t any longer a viable option. While the Raiders spent two draft choices and a great deal of money to gain Adams, the Packers dropped their second most significant player.

Even though the Packers were ready to pay Adams as much or even more than the Raiders, he preferred to play alongside Derek Carr, his close friend from the graduation days. It’s not out of the question that the Raiders get another experienced offensive tackle.
