Aaron Rodgers-led Green Bay Packers heads into Week Four with a perfect 3-0 record. Head coach Matt LaFleur has helped the Wisconsin-based franchise start their 2020 NFL campaign on a strong note. They will back themselves to build on that momentum, ahead of Monday’s game at Lambeau Field against the Atlanta Falcons.

Matt Ryan’s side is yet to register a win this season and has been on the receiving end of some unfortunate losses over the last three weeks. They will hope to pull off a major upset and end their dismal when they play the Packers on Monday Night Football.

Here’s a detailed look at both teams, along with injury updates and Week Four game day predictions.

NFL Preview

Davante Adams could feature for the Green Bay Packers on Monday night

Veteran NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers was brilliant against New Orleans Saints in Week Three. He will hope to repeat the same performance when playing the Falcons on Monday. Coach Matt LaFleur will be without promising WR Allen Lazard, who is out for at least a month after he underwent core-muscle surgery earlier this week.

However, the Packers could receive a major boost with the return of wideout Davante Adams, who has not played since Week Two. Star running back Aaron Jones will play a huge role in the running game offense, which is deployed frequently by LaFleur. The Packers defense will be kept busy by former NFL MVP Matt Ryan.

Atlanta Falcons up against a strong offensive unit in this Monday night clash

With a little bit of luck, the Falcons would currently be on a 2-1 record. Instead, they find themselves at 0-3 for the 2020 NFL season with another narrow loss to Chicago Bears last weekend. Atlanta will be underdogs heading into the prime-time clash against the Packers. Star quarterback Matt Ryan could be without seasoned NFL wide receiver Julio Jones, who is dealing with a hamstring issue.

Another wideout, Calvin Ridley could miss out on the game at Lambeau Field due to an ankle injury. Defensive stars Charles Harris, Darqueze Dennard, and Grady Jarrett will be crucial for the visitors who will aim to thwart a free-flowing Green Bay offense led by the former 2x NFL MVP.

Packers vs Falcons Prediction

Green Bay Packers 35 – 27 Atlanta Falcons

USA Today via Reuters

‘The Green and Gold’ are on a three-game winning streak, and given their form, it is tough to see another NFL team slowing them down anytime soon. Hence, one can expect the in-form home side to walk away with their second win of the season at Lambeau Field later tonight.

The Falcons, on the other hand, seem to be on the wrong side of Lady Luck’s vision. They will need some big plays to go their way if they intend to condemn the home team to a loss on Monday night. This is going to be one heck of a game, so make sure you tune in on Monday.
