The NFL Icon, Tom Brady’s wife, Gisele Bündchen, rose to fame in her modeling career in the late 90s. In a 1999 interview, she recounted how hard it was for the then-young model to establish her presence in the industry. She spoke about how some of the other top models used to treat her in the initial days when she was standing backstage at a Versace Show.

“I don’t have a big ego. Not like the older girls, like Naomi. She really has a big ego. They are not my friends. I know who they are and I say hi. I was stuck in the middle of them and they had all known each other for years. No one talked to me. I guess they don’t like the new girl,” the supermodel said. It hinted at the top model’s survival strategy, to deal with troublesome situations.
