The NFL has recently announced this year’s Hall of Fame Game teams, and not all fans have taken it well. The Las Vegas Raiders will meet the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. Their matchup is scheduled to be held, at 8 p.m. ET Thursday, Aug. 4.

The NFL announced on Monday that the two sides would meet to kick-start the 2022 preseason. And as the tradition goes, two days later, Raiders standout players Cliff Branch and Richard Seymour and the Jaguars’ all-time great Tony Boselli will be heading to enshrine their busts in Canton, Ohio.

Furthermore, displeased fans also know that even though it is referred to as a Hall of Fame Game, it won’t be as interesting to see. Since neither of the teams would line up their best squad in it. It is always pointed out by NFL enthusiasts that the Hall of Fame Game should be a regular-season game. The fact, that it’s instead a preseason game, many would rather skip on it as it won’t be as intense and action-packed.
