A joke might entertain the masses, but it could also make a situation go very awkward. An effort to make a joke on a national TV show resulted in a strained and uncomfortable occasion. The booth had analysts Peter Burns and Benjamin Watson getting awkward, and the moment was getting massive attention. A former NFL TE could not back but react to the situation.

During the Florida-Vanderbilt game, the SEC Network show had Chris Doeren, Takeo Spikes, Peter Burns, and Benjamin Watson in the Halftime Report booth. They were joking about their suits, and Watson was the only one wearing a light-colored. The atmosphere became tense after Burns joked about receiving a text from Watson’s wife. It led to the FS1 show host NFL analyst Shannon Sharpe talking about it on Twitter.
