During a recent episode of ‘The Herd with Colin Cowherd’, Cowherd provided his unique analysis about the Packers QB’s retirement comments.
While talking about Rodgers, he states, “What’s interesting is Aaron Rodgers in any other era would probably be retiring after any other season…He is 38 years old right now…38 is the reasonable number. It’s time to wrap her up. Lot of hits you can walk away and not hobble away.”

He even lists famous NFL QBs who had departed the game by the age of 38, like Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, and Kurt Warner, among others. Cowherd believes that the Packers also know that Rodgers could be heading for retirement before finishing his current deal. The FOX analyst adds that Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady and his longevity have influenced Rodgers to continue his NFL career.
Is Aaron Rodgers going to retire soon?
Rodgers’ recent admission during a quarterback roundtable on TNT following “The Match” event has worried fans.
