The new head coach of the Denver Broncos plans to make various changes to the team. Reportedly, the Super bowl-winning head coach is bringing other coaching talents from the New Orleans Saints. Sean Payton quickly became the fan favorite. The coach will give his services when the offseason will start because he is still under contract with FOX as one of the analysts. And since there are a lot of decisions to be made, he shared a tweet that made fans think that the coach is trying to replace Russell Wilson.
Russell Wilson became the bane of the team’s existence in this off-season. As many people know, the Broncos had an unfortunate season. Denver ended the season with a 5-12 under the leadership of Nathaniel Hackett. The team fired the former head coach after fifteen games but still has DangeRuss as their starting quarterback. However, one tweet from Payton caught the attention of the NFL world. They reacted and commented in surprise.

Tom Brady and his work buddy, Rob Gronkowski, are enjoying retirement after earning numerous accolades and breaking several records. Gronk retired for the second time in 2022 after playing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for two years and winning one Super Bowl ring. Similarly, TB12 retired for the second time a few weeks ago.

Many fans believed that the coach was trying to sign the legendary quarterback and tight end. Gronk and Brady are known for unexpected retirements and sudden returns. I hate to disagree with you, coach, but there's no way Broncos Country would accept Tom Brady as Denver's QB.

Payton has been busy fostering his relationships with current Broncos players and staff, so it appears like he is taunting Brady and Gronkowski more than anything else. By writing a “G” in place of the letter “B” on a Broncos sweater and renaming the team the “Groncos,” Payton effectively defeats Gronkowski. A pun won’t bring together these talents in Denver, even though the trio would make the team a strong competitor.
