This time, the legendary quarterback tangled himself in an alleged $8 million Welfare fraud. This affair had people losing their minds and infuriated many. The Governor of Mississippi and Favre came under fire for alleged misuse of funds. Chris Broussard, an American commentator and analyst on Fox Sports 1 especially, showed outrage. Broussard also condemned his actions.

On the Fox Radio Show, Chris Broussard and an American sports news anchor, Rob Parker, talked and analyzed the deplorable situation. Mississippi is the “

poorest state in the United States.” Broussard explained how immoral it is for a wealthy celebrity like Brett Favre to rob the money meant for the unfortunate population of the state.

Brett Favre – the precarious figure in the NFL

Allegations made were that he sent lewd pictures to one of the masseuses. Along with him, they also named another club employee in the suit.

Both parties reached a settlement in 2013. However, the therapist’s attorney did not disclose the information about the settlement. Along with that, the NFL led an investigation against the athlete. The reports claimed he sent inappropriate pictures to a Jets TV host. Although the league could not find out if he violated any personal conduct policy, they charged him a fine of $50,000. Because he failed to cooperate with the investigation process.
