Last Sunday, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, Tom Brady, got into an altercation with New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore. Later, Brady’s teammate Mike Evans also got involved, resulting in a huge fight between some players of the two teams. As a result of this fight, the referee threw Lattimore out of the game, and Evans got suspended for one match.

Former Saints quarterback Drew Brees, one of Brady’s arch-rivals, recently opened up about the game. He said, “Honestly, if it wasn’t for Marshon Lattimore, getting kicked out of the game, which I’m not sure why he got kicked out of the game, You know he was the one who got cheap shotted, I think the result of that game might have been a little bit different. Certainly, it wouldn’t have been as lopsided as it has been in the fourth quarter.

He further talked about the rivalries between the two teams, as he said, Any rivalry match-up, you are gonna get a lot of talking. It’s a competitive match-up and look before the season, I mean let’s go back to last three years. The Saints-Bucs match-up is the one that has determined the division champion and I think it’s gonna be that way again this year. Both teams know it, they knew how important that game is; so, it means a little bit extra.

At the same time, Brees also praised his former team for showing incredible effort, particularly in defense, as they stopped one of the best offenses in the league for the most part of the game. Credit to our defense for as well as they have played against a really good offense and a really good quarterback here over the last three years,” Brees added.

Meanwhile, Brady lost his cool at one of the referees for missing a completion. Moreover, he was not happy with Lattimore’s gesture and went to confront him. After seeing this, Evans tackled Lattimore to the ground, which caused a huge fight.

While speaking about Evans’ one-match suspension, Brady was not very pleased, as he felt Evans was just trying to back him. Also, the 45-year-old Bucs quarterback felt that he did not stay calm during the match as emotions got the better of him. Moreover, Brady looked agitated throughout the match, as he was constantly shouting during the match.
