The ongoing fiasco which is the Aaron Rodgers-Packers situation has taken a sudden turn today. According to Rodgers’ words on the McAfee show, he should be in a darkness retreat right now. However, McAfee is saying otherwise.

Pat McAfee has announced that his Rodgers Tuesday show would in fact take place tomorrow. His sources have confirmed that Rodgers’ can be expected at the show instead of his darkness retreat. Consequently, NFL fans, in dire straits, have begun serious deliberation after McAfee’s announcement. Reading into the situation, fans have a lot of theories about Rodgers’ next move, but only a few options keep coming up.

The darkness awaits Aaron Rodgers

The Packers QB did not have a great follow-up this year to his MVP last season. So his retirement talks cropped up again and A-Rod has been on his usual behaviour. Sometimes cryptic and sometimes eccentric. Following that, he announced his darkness retreat last week and the NFL world got a little noisy.

Rodgers went on the McAfee show last week to talk about the darkness retreat and his future in the NFL. About the retreat, he said, ‘It’s a real thing, That’s why it is going to be important to get through this week, take my isolation retreat and just be able to contemplate all things on my future and make a decision that is best for me moving forward, in the highest interest of my happiness.”

When asked about his future with the Packers, he reportedly said, “I’m still in the art of contemplation about my future. After my isolation retreat, I’ll be ready to make a decision.”

As far as speculations go, Rodgers has been eyed by the Jets and Raiders, with New York providing the most familiar situation for him. Similarly, retirement seems unlikely but who can be the right judge of that? We have all seen Tom Brady.
