The 2023 NFL preseason kicks off with a bang! The New York Jets are in for a showdown against the Cleveland Brown, which is being held at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. However, to everyone’s surprise, most of the starters from the Jets’ side, including their new QB, Aaron Rodgers, didn’t play. Zach Wilson took the 4x MVP’s place in the away game, getting everyone in the spirit of the season.

While the athletes kicked off the season on the gridiron, A-Rod was seen elsewhere. Sporting a grin, the star QB walked among the greats, perhaps looking for his own spot among them.

Aaron Rodgers has his eyes set on the big one
A-Rod’s athletic greatness is well-known, having dominated the league with the Packers for almost two decades. He holds the record for the most league MVP titles among active players and even has a Super Bowl ring. His $35 million pay cut has made him one of the most generous quarterbacks, akin to Tom Brady, which has fans eager to see him secure a spot in the Hall of Fame.

Even though Rodgers didn’t play in the preseason game, he was present at the event. Cheerfully taking on a commentator role and casually strolling through the Hall of Fame museum, his actions have sparked discussions. A clip of this was posted on the NFL’s X page, showing the 4x MVP smiling as he looks at the HoFamers’ busts. Interestingly, one of the commentators can be heard mentioning how Rodgers could take a place there in the future.

The Green Gang Nation may not have seen the 4x MVP in action, but they were delighted to see him in the museum. The clip quickly went viral on Twitter, getting over 200k views in just a few hours. One fan confidently wrote, “He will be there next!” Another agreed, saying, “He gonna be in there soon”
While some showed love, others were quick to take jabs at the team, with one of them writing, “I hope the Jets finish 3rd in the division. And Buffalo and Miami kick their teeth in. And they miss the playoffs.”

A fan took the conventional way of approaching the conversation and wrote, “Hang on, there is a voting process…”
Lastly, one curious fan raised a question, asking, “What if he does something horrible in the next 5 years?”
