According to ‘My News GH’ reports, Wendell Muhammad and Francina Palmer, Mike’s parents, and his father Muhammad provided details about the horrific accident. Mother Palmer served as a crucial emotional support system during this challenging time.

According to Fresherslive report, a steel beam struck Mike Williams in the head, causing severe injuries that tragically led to his passing. He was immediately rushed to the intensive care unit (ICU), but he never regained consciousness. On X, someone “@HskrsStarsBucs,” shared their condolences regarding the tragedy: “Heartbreaking.”

The Hillsborough County medical examiner’s autopsy revealed that Jackson’s cause of death was attributed to “chronic alcohol use.”

A diagnosis of C.T.E. also showed symptoms of memory loss and mood swings that worsened after his final NFL season in 2016. The pandemic added to Jackson’s difficulties, derailing his business endeavors and pushing him into isolation. His untimely end at the Homewood Suites in Brandon, Fla., a few miles east of Tampa, left a deep void. His wife, Lindsey Jackson, shared, “It’s not the ending he wanted.”
