The rumor mill began its work after Bündchen was spotted in Costa Rica with her children and jiu-jitsu trainer, Joaquim Valente. The model was immediately linked to him. However, the latter has been Bündchen’s longtime friend and trainer.

Addressing those rumors, as per Vanity Fair, she said, “I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I’m divorced, I’m sure that they’re going to try to attach me to anything.” The model added,  “He’s our teacher and, most importantly, he’s a person that I admire and that I trust. It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy.”  However, Bündchen’s interview also gave fans a deeper insight into the more pressing questions that have plagued them.
