Aaron Rodgers may want to end his football career with the Green Bay Packers. However, that may not work out according to plan after the recent uncertainty hanging over his future in Wisconsin. And certain star rookies in the league won’t mind having the reigning back-to-back league MVP leading their side.
New York Jets defensive back and star rookie Sauce Gardner recently came on the ‘Fitz and Harry’ segment on ESPN Radio and answered some questions about the Packers QB’s future with the Gang Green next year. And Rodgers would definitely get a push after hearing this interview.

The Jets housed the second-strongest defense in the NFL this season following only the formidable 49ers. Sauce and the boys allowed only 18.6 points per game to their opponents this year. However, their offensive loopholes proved to be too costly as they ended the season 7-10 at the bottom of the AFC East division. And Sauce feels there is room for improvement.
Aaron Rodgers Does Not Believe He Will Be Paid Full $60 Million Guaranteed Upon Returning to Green Bay: “There Would Have to be Some Adjustments”
“He’s [A-Rod] definitely great. He’s definitely elite. He’s been doing it since damn near before I was born. I can’t discredit nothing that he does. I’ve seen him do so many good things. He’s a great quarterback for sure. I wouldn’t mind that [Rodgers to Jets]. I want what’s best for the offense. But, at the same time, I just gotta focus on my job and focus on what we’ve got going on the defensive side,” Sauce said.

A veteran league quarterback coming into the franchise is bound to cause some tension in the locker room and team structure for the Jets. However, many think Aaron Rodgers will still fit in perfectly with the franchise. And that includes former Jets quarterback and Super Bowl III champion Joe Namath.
The Jets just hired former Denver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett as their offensive coordinator. Hackett was also the OC for Green Bay in the last two MVP seasons for Aaron Rodgers. However, the biggest factor behind this ease of transition is not A-Rod’s skill set or his rapport with Hackett. It’s his pre-existing relationship with current NY Jets quarterback Zach Wilson.
