The passer recently recalled the prestigious moment and the valuable advice he received from the veteran after the game.
The Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has seven titles to his name, while Mahomes has only one. He is only 27, and so far, the youngster has left an unwavering mark in the league.

While speaking in a recent interview, Mahomes recalled the moment when the then Patriots signal-caller Tom Brady came down to meet him after winning the game and appreciated him for his effort.
Indeed, getting kind words from the legends of the game is a cherishing moment for a lifetime. “The first thing was after the AFC Championship game, we lost him. I remember I mean, obviously, I’m, I’m upset and sad, and I’m sitting in the locker room forever and I start to walk out and he’s there waiting.” Mahomes said about the incident.
“All he said to me was that it wasn’t a big day today and just keep doing how you’re doing. You’re doing it the right way. And as a young quarterback, you just go out there and play and try to have fun.”
“Do whatever you can to put your team in the best position to win but when the GOAT’s saying that he’s saying you’re doing it the right way.” he added narrating the entire story.
