While speaking in a recent interview, Mahomes recalled the moment when the then Patriots signal-caller Tom Brady came down to meet him after winning the game and appreciated him for his effort.
Indeed, getting kind words from the legends of the game is a cherishing moment for a lifetime. “The first thing was after the AFC Championship game, we lost him. I remember I mean, obviously, I’m, I’m upset and sad, and I’m sitting in the locker room forever and I start to walk out and he’s there waiting.” Mahomes said about the incident.
“All he said to me was that it wasn’t a big day today and just keep doing how you’re doing. You’re doing it the right way. And as a young quarterback, you just go out there and play and try to have fun.”
