Although Jones looked in a good mood before the game, his mood may have shifted after the Cowboys’ performance against the Eagles, as the Dallas team lost the game 26-17.
The Cowboys dropped to the third position after losing against the Eagles
America’s Team looked in good rhythm after losing to the Bucs in their opening game; they won four games in a row after that loss. However, their streak finally ended at the hands of the Eagles this Sunday; the Eagles are currently with the best record with 6 wins in a row. Moreover, they are the only unbeaten team in the whole NFL.
As for the Cowboys, their backup quarterback Cooper Rush also lost his first game as a starter this season. In the first game, Dak Prescott suffered an injury that ruled him out of the game indefinitely. Earlier, Jerry Jones talked about Prescott returning for the Eagles game, which did not happen. In his absence, Rush played really great as the team played great defense.
