Hence, the case becomes alarming for Baltimore to estimate the price for their quarterback. However, an NFL Analyst’s predictions suggest Jackson may get his big-money deal elsewhere.

The NFL QB market reached an all-time high. Deshaun Watson launched the payslip rocket with an average of $46 Million. Then Aaron Rodgers agreed to a contract extension, putting an average of $50 Million in his bank. Kyler Murray recently settled his extension with the Arizona Cardinals. He will now receive $46.1 million on average yearly.

The recent episode of ‘Speak For Yourself‘ had Emmanuel Acho talk about Lamar Jackson. The Rookie QB arrives for the training camps amidst contract negotiations with the franchise. Moreover, Acho sets a predictive figure and expects Lamar to achieve big time.

The former NFL LB mentions, “He’s worth more than the Ravens are willing to pay him. That’s when it comes down. He’s not a number because what Lamar Jackson is worth, I do not think the Ravens are going to be willing to pay. I think about the players this year that reset the market. Deshaun Watson reset the market at the quarterback position… He didn’t do it with the team that drafted him; he had to go to Cleveland to do it.”

Meanwhile, Acho also gave examples like Davante Adams, Von Miller, and more who reset the market, but all happened after getting a trade. He further continues, “If you want to reset the market, it’s a parent, at least right here right now. You got to go elsewhere to reset that market.”

Even though the QB is with the team through 2023, the confusion and drama remain.
