The offense is a major cause of worry for the Buccaneers in the new season. Injuries to key players, including experienced campaigners like Ryan Jensen, Julio Jones, and Cameron Brate, have affected their game to a large extent. Tom Brady is trying hard to resolve the issue with his own efforts. In their latest attempt, TB12 tried to rope in retired star Rob Gronkowski for the clash against the Seahawks in Germany.

So far it has not worked. But Brady isn’t giving up. His latest try was in connection to the big clash against the Seahawks in Germany on Sunday. “I’ve heard the only thing you’re allowed to drink on the sideline at these German games is beer,” Brady joked on his “Let’s Go!” podcast on Monday. “I actually tried to recruit Gronk back just for this game in particular. Hopefully, he goes for it,” he added with a smile. The NFL veteran and TB12 were great allies in the yesteryears.

Tom Brady needs some magic in offense
In April, Tampa Bay made two draft picks on TEs, Cade Otton and Ko Kieft with a lot of expectations. However, the entire Bucs TEs did not achieve what Gronk single-handedly did. Statistics reveal that the four players combined for 43 catches for 432 yards. Moreover, they recorded just one TD. This has made the team vulnerable.

Meanwhile, an enigmatic Gronk recorded 55 catches and six TDs last season. This was when he was dealing with multiple injuries. So, it is clear the Bucs clicked when the offense was firing last season, and that is the prime reason Tom Brady is still pitting his hopes on the retired legend. But Gronk is not giving away, because he has a reason.
