Christmas is knocking on the door and the Mahomes are gearing up for a snowy holiday season in Kansas. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs clinched the AFC West Division last week with their overtime win against the Houston Texans. However, Brittany Mahomes seems to be upset before Christmas kicks in and it’s got nothing to do with Patrick.

Brittany has a problem with some Kansas residents. Especially the ones who decided to leave their dogs outside their homes in the excruciating cold. The Kansas City police were already doing their rounds looking for such cases of animal cruelty when Mrs. Mahomes tweeted out against the act of inhumanity.

And considering the Mahomes are a dog family who just bought a house for their dogs to have a backyard, this definitely didn’t sit well with Brittany.

“If you leave your dogs out in this weather, you have NO HEART,” the former professional soccer athlete tweeted. And Brittany received a ton of support in her replies. The 2020 Super Bowl MVP had to be proud of his wife, considering his own love and affection for dogs.

Brittany Mahomes and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback husband Patrick are dog parents to two dogs. Steel, the pitbull, was Patrick’s first while the couple adopted their second one, Silver, recently during the off-season. And that makes quite an elemental household with children Sterling and Bronze joining Steel and Silver.

Patrick Mahomes has a special bond with his pit bull. The star QB even brought his new puppy Silver over to his off-season training at Athlete Performance Enhancement Centre in Fort Worth, Texas. Silver flipped around in Patrick’s arm as the Chiefs’ staff showered their love on the puppy. His wife Brittany was also present just in case of any dog-related emergencies.
