The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had a not so ideal start to their 2021 NFL campaign. Losing both of their last two preseason games, the Tom Brady led defending Super Bowl champions have looked a like a shadow of their former selves.

“The confidence is high on the defensive side of the ball,” Reid said. “I feel like we’ve been playing solid so far. We haven’t had a test against a starting quarterback yet, so this will be exciting for us to actually do that.”

Reid also said that having their fans over for their first home tie of 2021 will only give him and his side the added boost they need to succeed.

“It’s our first home game, too. We’re going to have a good crowd come out, so we want to defend the home turf,” he added.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are expected to play some starters in the second half of the tie against the Texans. Maybe then Reid will get his chance to take on Tom Brady in the pocket.
