After eight matches this season, the Miami Dolphins and the Houston Texans hold the dubious record for having the least number of points this season. Both the teams have only won once in their eight matches played. In fact, this is the biggest losing streak in the history of the Miami Dolphins.

Both the Dolphins and the Texans have looked out of sorts this season and this is one match where they can both look to get out of the rut. Luckily for the Houston Texans, quarterback Tyrod Taylor is back from injury and is all set to start against the Dolphins.

HE IS BACK! Tyrod Taylor is all set to start against the Dolphins

Ahead of the decisive battle against the Dolphins, the Texans have been given a shot in the arm with the return of quarterback Tyrod Taylor. Texans coach David Culley announced his return and highlighted his important leadership skills. “He was our starting quarterback, and he got hurt,” Culley said. “He’s back healthy now, and he’s starting. The fact he’s been our leader going into the year, will that help us? I hope so. We’ll see,” he added.

Coach Culley also said that Tyrod Taylor is integral to the team as he gives them the best chance to win. “We will use the best guys that give us the best chance to win, and Tyrod Taylor gives us the best chance to win,” Culley said. “He was our starting quarterback for a reason,” the Texans coach concluded.

End of the road for Rookie Davis Mills?

After Tyrod Taylor’s unfortunate injury in the second game, rookie Davis Mills took his place. Unfortunately for Mills, he put up dismal performance game after game. In the last six games, he started, the Texans lost all of them. In fact, the Texans in four of Davis’s six starts scored fewer than 10 points.

Now that Tyrod Taylor is back, it looks like Mills will be back to the bench. Coach Culley echoed the same and iterated how being on the bench will help him learn better. “It’s been an invaluable experience for him,” Culley said. “He’s grown from it. He’s gonna be better for it. It’s gonna help him in his future having gone through what he’s gone through,” Culley concluded.

Good luck Tyrod Taylor!
