The 26-year-old quarterback had enough successes in just three years of his journey into the world of the NFL. Mahomes became the first-ever MVP award winner for the Chiefs and was named to the 2019 Pro Bowl. Owing to his achievements, he was granted a contract extension by Kansas City Chiefs in 2020 after he won the Superbowl title for the team.

The deal was worth $450 million for ten years and can be extended to $503 million if he touches all the incentives. Imagine getting a deal like this at the age of 24. So, a little bit of luxury is quite obvious these days.

The 4,343-square-foot home located in the heart of the city was bought by Mahomes for a whopping sum of $1.8 million in 2019. The house is located in Missouri, just 20 minutes away from Kansas City’s home Arrowhead stadium.

However, the power couple renovated the house extensively, increasing its value to over $2 million. The new customized dream home features a gym, wine cellar, and an entire room dedicated to shoes.

Moreover, Mahomes owns more than 180 pairs of shoes, and all of those fit into the closet exclusively constructed for this purpose. The house sits on a 1.4-acre plot with lots of scenic beauty and is very close to nature.

Mahomes runs a charitable organization

Mahomes is an avid philanthropist often engaged in various charitable works. Apart from luxury, the Kansas City Chiefs QB owns a charitable trust in the name of Mahomes foundation.

Last year, he was rewarded by the SEAL foundation for his generous contributions to the financially deprived children of the fallen US Navy Seals. He provided numerous scholarships for the well-being and education of such students and organized funding campaigns for youth football clubs in association with USA football.

Today, Mahomes boasts of receiving an annual salary of $40 million according to his contract with the City. And it’s heartwarming to see that a fair share of the money is donated back to society. Major credit goes to his wife Matthews for shouldering her husband in such activities enriching the glory of the NFL and its culture to another level.
