The NFL’s ‘First Things First’ have come down hard on an NFL player. The panel, which consists of 4 members, reviews the players that need to step up on the big stages. The panelists include- Chris Broussard, Nick Wright, Kevin Wildes, and Eric Mangini. They discuss the players that are in the scare zone of “Under Duress List”. This time the panelists didn’t shy away from scathing remarks for the Denver Broncos veteran.

Fans would hope the player’s $245 million contract extension with Denver Broncos comes in good effect. Despite looking like a shade of his past self last season, the head coach still believes in his trump card. However, the First Things First Broussard has given a harsh assessment of players’ performance as the new season goes underway.

Chris Broussard doesn’t shy away from sharp remarks

Thursday’s panelists at ‘NFL First Things First’ had a field day. One of the panelists spoke openly about how he felt about the Denver Broncos stalwart- Russell Wilson. Speaking on the show he remarked “Russ it’s only you. Your coach went out there and sullied his reputation for you.” He further added, “You just have to go do it and look let this humble you, alright? Let’s forget that …Just do what you have to do to win. That’s it, just got out if you gotta run the bar 30 times.”

It was a harsh and just criticism provided by the panelist. He too backed the SB champion to go out there and do everything in his power to win the season. No words were minced and Broussard shed light on how Broncos head coach Sean Payton defended his player’s performance and is excepting a resounding comeback. With one of the worst career performances behind him, the 2019 Second-team All-Pro winner needs to pull himself together and perform accordingly.

Russell Wilson undergoes a dismal practice session

Denver Broncos underwent a training session this Wednesday. The pre-season camp was held to asses their player’s performances through friendly games. For Wilson, the practice session went from bad to worse in a matter of hours. The nine-time Pro Bowl winner threw interceptions at Justin Simmons and K’aun Williams. Moreover, the QB failed to record a single touchdown during the practice. The once GOAT QB is walking on thin ice.

Sean Payton again came to the player’s rescue. He casually brushed off any of Wilson’s lapses saying “Yeah, no big whoop. He’s doing fine. Payton and the QB are quite tight. The $245 million extension needs to help the Broncos’ cause and hopefully bring Wilson’s form back on track.

It’s a season of redemption for the QB. Wilson knows what needs to be done and just works on his flaws to guide his team for the postseason playoffs.

"If at night you see your team losing or you wake up with the news of your team winning. Words will always be there sharing your emotions through thick and thin!" I've always had a strong connection with words. They've given me the passage to express my emotions from starting as a 7th grader writing poems in school to now writing articles based around leaders like Deion Sanders. My association and vocabulary with words have grown tremendously. Joining ES as an NFL and NCAA-focused writer has provided me with terrific opportunities. It has helped me understand the mindset of the GOAT Tom Brady, learn how Patrick Mahomes is writing his legacy, and watch Kirk Cousins push himself year after year. I resonate with the QBs- their aura, gameplay, and just the toughness to get hit and keep rising! Apart from writing, I love writing poetry and fine-tuning my muscles in a bid to get the perfect QB physique! - Jyot Singh Bindra, NFL author at ES.
