“When it is hard to breathe, I am kidnapped for a road trip,” Randi wrote in an Instagram story tagging her friend Teresa. Along with the note, she shared a photo of the duo smiling in a car.

Teresa Jane is Randi’s best friend in Tyler, Texas, who has seen her go through a hard time of losing her mother. In fact, it was Jane who broke the terrible news to the world when Randi couldn’t even catch a breath. Fans will surely appreciate the magnanimous surprise that Jane gave her friend, who badly needed it at this point. 

Preserving her mother’s legacy 

Before going off on the road trip, Randi Mahomes ensured that her mother Debbie Bates’ legacy lives on. She created a campaign in Debbie’s memory that will ensure that the next generations of talented students get all the opportunities that her kids got. Those opportunities took them to the heights they are currently on. And Randi wants to make sure others also get a chance to fulfill their potential.
