The Jaguars made one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history during the Wild card game against the Changers this week. The matchup was a tale of two halves where the fans saw an unexpected shift of momentum, eventually helping Trevor Lawrence and Co. to seal a great win. Just like anybody else, Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian couldn’t believe his eyes and regretted the biggest mistake he made.

The Reddit founder literally turned off the game at half-time, losing all hope in his team. And guess what? The miracle happened with Lawrence orchestrating a perfect win. Those four interceptions in the first half fumed the Jacksonville fans, but the 23-year-old once again proved why he was the first overall pick in 2021.

“Shame on me for turning off the Chargers vs Jags game at half-time. WOW.” he wrote on Twitter. Indeed the nail-biting encounter saw the first shift just a few minutes before half-time. The second-year quarterback for the Jaguars, Trevor Lawrence, conceded four interceptions during this period and connected for his first touchdown to break the 27-0 lead maintained by the Chargers.

Since then, it was an agonizing experience for the LA fans at Jacksonville, watching the opposition progressing towards the end zone. In the second half, Lawrence racked up three more touchdowns for a total of 288 passing yards. Moreover, this surreal comeback rally helped the Jaguars register 31 points by the end of the final whistle.

This bone-chilling moment was something that even Lawrence couldn’t process. During the post-game press conference, he expressed his happiness and thanked his teammates for having his back. “You couldn’t write a better script to win a game like that tonight, so it makes it more special, but don’t want to do that again,” the quarterback said, per The FOX sports.

“Got to take care of the ball. That’s where it starts. We said in the locker room that’s kind of how our season’s going. We’re never out of the fight… I’m kind of speechless, honestly, just to see what belief can do and to see when a team believes in each other what you can accomplish.” he added.

NFL world rejoices and relates the experience with Alexis Ohanian

The Jaguars have begun their postseason with a bang. This victory will go down in the record books as the third-highest comeback wins in NFL history. Only the Bills in 1992 and the Colts in 2013 were able to execute such comebacks in the past. Anyways, fans couldn’t hold back their emotions.
