Justin Jefferson is one of the most exciting rookies in the NFL right now. The Minnesota Vikings wide receiver is on a roll right now and looking very likely to bag the NFL Rookie of the Year trophy.
Jefferson went to the Minnesota Vikings as the 22nd pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Since entering the NFL, he has taken the league by the horns. He has been the driving force for the Vikings, as they got a 5-6 record in the NFC North with second place.
Jefferson has played all 11 games for the Vikings this season. In those 11 games, he has 52 receptions off of just 72 targeted passes towards him. He has averaged close to 17 yards per reception and scored 6 touchdowns.

For Jefferson, he will hope to continue developing the way that he has this season. His numbers are already staggering, and if he can continue to improve, then the future is bright for Jefferson but scary for those playing against him.
Jefferson has scored 38 points this year for the Minnesota Vikings. That is an impressive record for a player who plays for the Vikings, who have only crossed the 40 point threshold for less than half the games they’ve played.
Minnesota Vikings rookie wants his respect
For the Vikings, they must use Jefferson’s contributions properly if they want to make the NFL Playoffs right now. A young player like him who is performing at the highest level will surely benefit from some much-needed playoff experience.
The rest of the team must step up their efforts to help their young rookie, who could turn out to be a franchise star.
