Rodgers even went on to share his take on Jordan Love filling his shoes, “I was open to that change based on how people responded, It was more just a sense, you drafted Jordan if I hadn’t won MVP twice in a row, this would have been a conversation two years ago, which is totally fine, I get it

Rodgers recalled the guys he came in with, and felt that this current Green Bay roster needed a different set of individuals. He said, “It’s just a different regime and every regime wants to have their guys”.

Reports of Aaron Rodgers handing New York Jets his own customized wishlist of players have been circulating for a while now. While many around the league want to wholeheartedly believe this narrative, Rodgers denied making any such demands. “That’s not the reality, that’s just ridiculous. It’s so stupid. Now did they ask me about certain guys that I played with, of course, did I talk glowingly about teammates that I love, yeah? Why wouldn’t you? Do I make demands about certain people? I mean, it’s just. And people want these things to be true”.

With the Jets already eyeing up some of Rodgers’s current teammates, the 4x NFL MVP might find his next destination to be a pleasant one. In addition to Nathaniel Hackett, the Jets intend to acclimatize Rodgers with a couple of familiar faces around him, and that could potentially be the final cog in the wheel.
