NFL GOAT Tom Brady recently retired from professional football for good earlier this year. A career spanning over 23 seasons, Brady has solidified his legacy in the NFL as the greatest of all time, with 7 Super Bowl championships under his name. Today, his children are at the top of his priority list, as he wants to give them the best of everything for their future. Despite his divorce from ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, both of them love their children a lot and have come forward to co-parent their children to give them a stable present and future.

But it was not always like this for the 7X Super Bowl Champion, as there was a time when, while married to Bundchen, he opened up about not wanting to start his own family up until a certain age.

Tom Brady had a different life envisioned before?

Today, Brady is the father of three beautiful children named Jack (with ex-wife Bridget Moynahan), Benjamin, and a daughter named Vivian (both with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen). But before his marriage to ex-wife Bundchen, Brady had once envisioned a different life for himself, as he wanted to keep his professional footballing career rolling as his key priority.

An article by Corinne Heller for ENews recalls how Tom Brady had once opened up about a different path he had in mind for his own personal life apart from his glorious career. During an interview with Howard Stern in 2020, he said, “I didn’t want to have kids or get married until my late 30s. I remember thinking, I don’t want anything to get in the way… once my football career kinda got rolling. I thought in my mind, why don’t I just wait until I’m basically done playing, which I thought would be in my late 30s, and then I’ll figure out the rest from there. But that wasn’t in the plan.”

Brady now spends his post-retirement life mostly with his children. There had been speculation that he was coming back to the league, but he denied this by saying that he kept busy with his kids since his daughter Vivian had taken in a 2-month-old kitten. He also went on a skiing trip with all his children, as it was something his youngest son Benjamin liked as a sport. Apart from this, both Bundchen and Brady are now planning to build their houses next to each other to provide a stable future for the growth of all of their children.

While Brady might have envisioned his life differently, he must surely feel blessed with the family he has today and the bond he shares with his beautiful kids.
