The Lamar Jackson discussion goes wild

Lamar Jackson and his situation with the Ravens is the talk of the town at the moment. And Ashley Moss gave the Ravens an earful about the situation. The new joiner on the ‘I am Athlete’ podcast had a lot to say to the franchise, who are looking at the other positions while keeping Jackson in a limbo.

“I don’t care if they want Jesus to be their wide receiver, pay your quarterback first. All of it sounds great, it sounds fantastic. This name, that name. But I think that it’s almost an insult for them to be at the Combine talking about all the other positions that are necessary for them to win, when the most pivotal part of their offense, they keep dangling the carrot in front of it,” Moss said on the podcast.

She revealed that she has always heard good things about Jackson from anybody she has talked to. So according to her, it’s an insult to Jackson.

The franchise QB for the Ravens

Lamar Jackson has made the Ravens a fierce competitor in the NFL. Even when he did not play the full regular season, his numbers were really of an elite QB. And apart from the injuries, he has really clicked with the Ravens’ offense.

He joined the Ravens as a first-round pick in the 2018 NFL draft. And since day one, he and the offense are on the same page. The QB has won a Pro Bowl nomination twice in five seasons. He has also won the league MVP award once, back in the 2019 season.

Will he come back to play for the Ravens in the 2023 season? And if he does, will he come on a contract that he wants or on the franchise tag?
