Men’s Health spoke with Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers about his three-night psychedelic drug ritual. Before he sipped the hallucinogenic beverage, the QB1 had to trust the method. Rodgers discussed his reservations about the procedure on night one of his trip. The QB1 admitted he is uncertain whether he will use ayahuasca again.

It is quite an amusing revelation from the Packers quarterback. The QB1 has remained vocal about ayahuasca and revealed how the drug helped him succeed. But having uncertainty is not what everyone expected. Rodgers pondered how the process requires trust and that one needs to surrender to the shaman. Aaron Rodgers appeared on the Pat McAfee show on Tuesday, causing quite a stir on social media platforms. Fans are familiar with the Packers’ QB1’s use of hallucinogenic drugs and affirmed how Ayahuasca and another naturally growing drug enabled him to endure his fear of dying. Rodgers’ statement came after AJ Hawk asked if he was frightened of it.

Rodgers mentioned, “So yeah, I definitely had a fear of death, and ayahuasca and psilocybin actually really helped me with that and relieved a lot of the stress around needing to accomplish things before I die. I think when you’ve seen the other side, it makes the idea of death more of a passage and less of an ending. More of just the next chapter of life.”
