When the Packers registered three consecutive victories after a frustrating loss against the Vikings in the season opener, fans believed that the team was back on the track.

However, an international loss against the Giants in Week 5 and a Week 6 stumble raised several eyebrows. This forced the management to evaluate their plans moving forward. The passer also mentioned that he and general manager Brian Gutekunst had several conversations regarding the issue. “I’m not attacking anything,” Rodgers said. “I just think that based on how we’ve played the last two weeks, I think, it’s going to be in our best interests to simplify things for everybody — for the line, for the backs, for the receivers, especially with [Randall Cobb’s] injury.”

“Just simplify some things, and maybe that’ll help us get back on track,” he added. Moreover, the fans booed the squad despite playing at their home at Lambeau field. Rodgers also addressed the backlashes he has been receiving in the locker room. It was a hot topic of discussion lately.

Head coach Matt LaFleur speaks on Aaron Rodgers’ comments

After losing 27-10 against the Jets, the franchise is down to 3-3. It is happening for the first time under LaFleur that in the past four seasons, the Packers suffered consecutive losses in the regular season. Moreover, the performance also affected the passer rating. It turned out to be the lowest in Rogers’ career since taking charge as the starter.

“I don’t know what that means,” LaFleur told reporters on Monday about the quarterback’s ‘simplifying some things’ remark. “We talked about it. Any time there’s a lack of execution… to me, it’s about digging into the details of what we’re doing. Because I think you could see that, and it falls on everybody.”

The Commanders are next on the line for Rodgers, and the team will fly to Washington for the game. It will be interesting to see what changes they bring to improve the current situation.
