The retirement of Tom Brady took a new turn. The popular TV host, Rich Eisen, informed the world that the 7-time Super Bowl champion could come back once again. Fans went absolutely crazy after hearing the news. Now, another popular sports analyst, Colin Cowherd, opened up about Eisen’s comments, where he also felt that Brady could un-retire for the second season in a row. Is it really a possibility?

Earlier in February, Brady announced his retirement from the NFL for the second season in a row. Previously, he announced his return after 40 days of taking his retirement. As the 40th day of his second retirement approaches, the rumors about his return are spreading like wildfire. And Cowherd is the latest one to fuel those speculations.

In the latest episode of FS1 show, Cowherd talked about Brady’s performance in the 2022 season, where he broke the completion record; he lauded the 45-year-old QB. Moreover, the analyst compared Brady’s retirement with the likes of Derek Jeter, Kobe Bryant, and others who retired on a high.

Talking about Brady’s performances, Cowherd said,Brady can still sling it. He’s not as good as he was, but remember, the San Francisco offense is built. Are you smart? Can you distribute the ball accurately? Can we pay you a good salary but not break the bank if we want to keep these weapons?

On Brady’s retirement, Cowherd said, Somebody I trust outside of this building told me a couple of weeks ago, ‘I don’t think Tom Brady’s gonna be a broadcaster any time soon. I think he wants to play.

While Cowherd was pointing at the Niners as Brady’s possible destination in 2023, Eisen talked about the Dolphins as a potential option for the former Buccaneers‘ QB. Because there’s a huge question mark over Dolphins’ QB Tua Tagovailoa’s health next season after suffering several concussions in the previous season. Moreover, Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, reportedly bought a house in Miami as well. Right now, Brady remains retired and most likely won’t be returning to football any time soon.
