The NFL fanbase is shaken up after the Seattle Seahawks announced the Russell Wilson trade. The Seahawks traded their franchise quarterback to the Denver Broncos for a hefty haul. In return, they got two first-rounders, two second-rounders, a fifth-round, and three players. Some fans think Seattle won the trade. Well, Pat McAfee has something to say about that.

The former NFL player and current SmackDown Live commentator called out the Seahawks fans. Losing a future Hall of Famer does not make sense to McAfee. He completely disagrees with the fans showing support for the trade.

The Wilson-Broncos trade
The 33-year-old franchise quarterback was a third-round draft pick in 2012 by the Seahawks. Russell Wilson has spent his entire professional football career in Seattle. He never wanted to leave the franchise. The athlete is an amazing performer, as he has been selected in the Pro Bowl nine times. Wilson has also won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks in 2013 after defeating his now current team, the Denver Broncos.

The Seahawks went out of their way to get a deal for the talented quarterback. They needed to rebuild the squad, and it came at Wilson’s expense. Seattle traded him to Denver for a bunch of goodies. They got three players in return along with two first-round and two second-round picks and also the fifth round. Some fans think this is a stellar deal. While others argue that there is no price for giving Russell Wilson away.

Pat McAfee is not pleased with the trade
If there is any news going around the world of the NFL, the fans can bet Pat McAfee will cover it. In a recent edition of “The Pat McAfee Show,” the former NFL star talked about the Russell Wilson trade. He did not seem to agree with the fans saying Seattle won in the transaction.

McAfee, showing his displeasure, said, “There’s people saying that Seattle got a good deal.” He adds, “They lose Russell Wilson, they got two first, two seconds, a fifth, and a couple players. They won the deal. I hate people who say this. I f*cking hate it. They said it about the Lions and Stafford last year. I can’t take it. You just got a Hall of Fame quarterback probably. I’d give up every pick if we get a Hall of Fame quarterback and we have a team.”
