The Baltimore Ravens had a dream start to their 21/22 NFL season with 5 wins in 6 matches. Unfortunately, the dream start came to a halt last night when the Cincinnati Bengals absolutely dismantled the Ravens. The Ravens lost the game 41-17. The Ravens had pinned high hopes from their star quarterback, Lamar Jackson, to perform, but the player looked out of sorts last night.

Post-match, Jackson spoke to the press about the match and expressed his anger and disgust for losing to the Bengals in a humiliating manner.

After the disappointing outing against the Bengals, Jackson spoke to the press and explained how individual mistakes, especially his, cost them the game. He pointed out three turnovers that shouldn’t have happened and hoped that they learn and do better next time.

“Coach had to make that decision. I was cool with it for sure. Just trying to protect us and stuff like that, so I was cool with it. But it’s definitely tough. I hate losing. You don’t wanna see the score tilted and stuff like that for sure.”

Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh was very disappointed with his team’s performance against the Bengals. According to him, he had put together the best football team this year, so a loss like this really disappointed him. He also pointed out that his team has a high ceiling, but today, they looked like a shadow of their former selves.

“I felt like this team was the best football team that it could be this year,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. “With the group that we had, I thought we made the most of us, becoming the best football team we could be. We just weren’t that today. And that’s the disappointing thing.” he added.
