Speaking about Teddy Bridgewater, he said, “I think Teddy’s definitely going to come in and change the offense. He has great weapons. His start with the Saints, 5-0, was just incredible. It just shows you that the Teddy that Minnesota had drafted back then is back. I’m happy to see that. I’ve always been a fan of Teddy, especially when he was at Louisville. So, I’m happy to have him as a teammate. I know that he has a lot of tremendous weapons around him and we built that offensive line so he could feel comfortable in the pocket.”

Carolina Panthers are confident about Bridgewater and that led them to sign him for a whopping $63 million on a 3-year contract. They also signed former New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson and traded guard Trai Turner for former Los Angeles Chargers offensive tackle Russell Okung. Both of these changes are intended to help Bridgewater carry out his tasks on the field more efficiently.

It is clear that the Panthers are hoping to build a stronger offense than they ever had. This time, the focus will be obviously on Teddy Bridgewater. He will also get the offensive services of D.J. Moore, Christian McCaffrey, and Curtis Samuel. With so many weapons ready for Teddy Bridgewater to utilize at Carolina, he could become the perfect quarterback for his team. Or at least, Shaq Thompson believes so.
