Aaron Rodgers failed to impress with all the hype Green Bay developed during the training camps. The Week 1 game was a bummer, and the Packers had a great fall — Just like Humpty Dumpty. Rodgers’ failure to clutch a winning sweep disappointed QB-turned-analyst Chris Simms, who voiced his critical opinion during a broadcast.

The Green Bay Packers opened their season with a loss against one of their nemesis, the Minnesota Vikings. The offensive end did not meet up to expectations, and the young stars lacked cooperation with Aaron Rodgers. The QB certainly felt the loss of his old WR1, Davante Adams, at the moment.

Former Bucs QB lambasted A-Rod’s performance

Chris Simms mentioned, “I’m interested to see how this goes as the year goes long. Yeah, I know he’ll be efficient and good against the crappy teams of the NFL, the Lesser demons is in the NFL, but you and I were holding a green bed at the Super Bowl standard. And that, that to me, is where he is not on the level anymore of Mahomes, Josh Allen, or Justin Herbert; he’s just not. And you know, I love Aaron Rodgers, but I love to keep it real more. I mean, he’s my favorite quarterback of all time, but he’s not on their level.”

“Those guys go, ‘Oh wait, the first read wasn’t open. Okay, wait, I’ve still got time. Let me. I’m gonna put pressure on the defense and make them regret.’ You know, not doing something different or leaving this guy open down the middle. And to me, that’s something to watch for, at least in Green Bay,” He added.

The Packers failed to impress in Week 1. Christian Watson, in particular, misjudged a wide-open throw that could have possibly been a 75-yard score. It was the first play of his career.

Sean Payton criticizes Aaron Rodgers over his poor demeanor

The Packers’ Week 1 loss was surely a bummer for every Wisconsin fan. However, it was Aaron Rodgers‘ behavior that irked many people. Former Saints head coach Sean Payton was not content with A-Rod’s demeanor during or following the play.

According to FOX Sports, Payton stated it drove him insane. He thought Rodgers did not play well. The first topic addressed to Aaron in the locker room interview was about rebounding. He brought up the game’s first play: The pass drop by Christian Watson. Payton then said, ‘Come on.’ I like Aaron Rodgers, but what I saw was disappointing.

Will Aaron Rodgers and the Packers make a proper rebound after the season opener loss? It is subject to witness.
