However, his bond with former President Donald Trump was once a point of conflict among fans. Amidst all the speculative reports, Brady recently used his marriage to describe his turbulent relationship with Trump.

The Tom Brady-Donald Trump debate began when the picture of a MAGA cap in his locker went viral. Following that, several people labeled the Buccaneers quarterback as a Trump supporter. However, things have changed. Brady and Trump’s friendship, which began in 2001, ended when Brady distanced himself from the former POTUS.
Tom Brady shed some light on his 16-year-long relationship with Donald Trump. The quarterback told Variety that the press had misrepresented his friendship with Trump. He also mentioned playing golf with Trump on a private course, which he thought was the most classy thing on the planet. Moreover, In elaborating on his ties with Trump, TB12 escaped endorsing or criticizing Trump’s policies.

Brady mentions, “There are things that I agree with. There are things that I don’t. There are things I agree with my wife about. There are things that I don’t. I love her to death, but we don’t always see eye to eye. I don’t see eye to eye with anyone. And I’m not responsible for what other people say.”

Insider reports that in Martin’s book, Trump said their friendship soured after Brady married his wife Gisele Bundchen and began following a notoriously strict diet and lifestyle in 2005. Tom focused on his stringent regimen, the TB12 diet plan, while Trump led a very different way of life. McDonald’s, KFC, pizza, and Coke were all in the POTUS’ accommodations aboard Air Force One.
