Former NFL quarterback Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s marriage happened to remain a fairytale relationship in the celebrity world. However, the duo sought a mutual divorce last year, ending a marriage of 13 years. Even though Bündchen initiated the bold move, the Supermodel revealed having self-destructive ideas before getting married. And it was Brady who brought her back to life.

One of the primary reasons behind their split was speculated as Brady’s over-obsession with the game of football. Apparently, he couldn’t give enough family time and subsequently, she filed a divorce. If we keep this aspect aside, their relationship always seemed like an ideal one.

Being a supermodel and a high-profile artist in the industry, Bündchen indulged in various relationships before getting linked with the NFL quarterback. Her bond with the Hollywood Superstar Leonardo DiCaprio always remained a hot subject of discussion.

Although she gained fame and immense popularity, Bündchen couldn’t find internal peace. Her imbalanced work-life and undisciplined diet contributed to mental trauma and deteriorating health.

The supermodel recalled those days through her book ‘Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life’. She admitted making poor choices and thoughts that crossed her mind, asking herself whether she wanted to live.

“There were situations when I made poor choices-but I question whether they really were “mistakes” or rather just experiences and opportunities to learn,” Bündchen said in her book.

Bündchen revealed the news on social media, expressing her gratitude for their time with each other. “The decision to end a marriage is never easy, but we have grown apart, and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.” the Supermodel wrote in her post, per nj.com.

Since then, the duo branched into the various dimensions of life. While Brady focussed on his NFL career, Bündchen stepped foot into the modeling industry again.
