Tom Brady’s downward spiral

Brady’s slump in performance has come under public scrutiny. In a conversation with TMZ Sports, Moon said, “I don’t remember the last time Tom Brady was 3 and 4 after seven games any season in his career but it does not look good right now and they’ve got to really get their focus back. They’re still a good enough football team on paper with the personnel they have and everything to be one of the top team’s in the NFC which isn’t that strong this year but like you said they’re not playing without a passion, they’re not having fun out there, you know Tom’s got a lot going on in his personal life… “

Currently 3-4 in the league, the Bucs look like they need all the help they can get. After suffering some humiliating losses, the Bucs will have to rethink their offensive strategy. Surprisingly, they still sit atop their division.

Do the Bucs need Rob Gronkowski?

Moon also talked about the team’s offense. He added that the team might be missing Gronkowski, especially with regard to the red zone. He added, “I really think that he [Tom] really misses Rob Gronkowski who’s been a security blanket for him for so long. Whenever there’s a key play that needs to be made, especially down the red zone or whatever and they have a tough time scoring in the red zone last week, that’s the guy he would usually go to, Rob Gronkowski.”

Moon believes that Gronkowski‘s absence is hurting the Bucs’ offense. While Brady struggles on and off the field, his former tight end is set to return to the game as an analyst. Despite Moon’s belief, it sure seems like Gronkowski is settling nicely into his retirement. Probably he will not be coming back to the field, for now.
