The NFL world can rejoice after a positive update over Damar Hamlin. The athlete’s health is on the mend and has displayed great signs of recovery. The painful moment occurred after Hamlin tackled Tee Higgins. But several people held the Bengals’ WR responsible for the harrowing situation. But Josh Allen stepped up and kept a definite perspective on the wideout.

After concluding his press conference on Thursday, Josh Allen stayed to talk about Tee Higgins. The Bengals wideout is receiving too much flak after his collision with Damar Hamlin, which became a life-threatening condition. But the Buffalo Bills‘ QB1 stepped up and defended Higgins before walking out.

Before leaving the press conference, Josh Allen said, “I do want to say one more thing: I haven’t reached out to Tee [Higgins]. I saw some stuff on Twitter. People should not be attacking him, whatsoever, and I’m glad that Damar’s family came out and said that. Hopefully, he found some relief today because, again, that’s a football play. And I hope that he doesn’t hold that upon himself because there’s nothing else that he could have done in that situation.”

Apart from Josh Allen, Damar Hamlin’s family and friends also spoke out and defended Tee Higgins. They admitted that if they scrutinize Higgins due to Hamlin, they are not supporting him by any means.
