“I Should Have Just Went In For That Play”: Rob Gronkowski Talks About His Future In The Wake Of Tom Brady’s Underperforming Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Following his decision to retire after the end of last season. Rob Gronkowski is having a second go at the retired lifestyle. While his on and off field buddy Tom Brady is still in the running to make yet another playoff appearance at the age of 45. Gronk has been focusing on different things. Since the 33-year-old has once come back from retirement to help Brady. And after a disastrous start to the season, it was all but expected to happen again. However, this time, the TE does not seem to be as open to the idea of playing again.
Gronkowski Joined the Today Show to promote the No Kid Hungry campaign. In addition to the noble cause, the former NFL player also discussed many facets of life. Including his plans for the future. While Gronk admitted that when seeing some of the plays being called by Brady and the Bucs. He wishes he could just walk in and do his thing. “There have been a few moments for sure, especially when they call a play in the red zone,” added the TE. “I know exactly what play they’re calling and I’m like, oh I would have been wide open for that one. I should have just went in for that play.”

While people have been expecting the NFL legend to come back. But it seems like the former TE has other areas to focus on right now. The fitness enthusiast who hails from a large family has a lot on his plate at the moment. In addition to his own fitness line, the star is helping out his brothers and his mother who her own cookbook, ‘Outnumbered’. Diverting a lot of his focus on the business side of things. “Love to stay busy in the business world helping out my brother’s businesses our family businesses,” said Gronkowski.
The 33-year-old has also been giving a lot of time to fitness itself. And his love for a good workout has been taking the TE to some random classes as well. “Love to stay fit. You know I love to go out to a random fitness class,” added Gronk. Further explaining how it inspires him to see strangers trying to take their bodies to the next level.
