‘I Slept On My Bed’: Pittsburgh Steelers’ Najee Harris Has Hilarious Reaction to ESPN’s Mistake

During the Monday Night Football matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chicago Bears, ESPN’s sportscaster and commentator Steve Levy shared an interesting anecdote about the early college life of the Steelers’ running back Najee Harris, that he used to sleep on the floor for the first few months in Alabama.
Harris, after winning the game by 29-27, took to Twitter, falsifying the claims made by the commentator live on television. “Bra I ain’t sleep on no [damn] floor in college. I slept on my bed,” the running back hilariously said.

Najee Harris falsifies the claims
Although it’s been mentioned thousands of times that the Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris grew up in the Bay Area and spent years living in a homeless shelter. But during his days in Alabama, he did not sleep on the floor.

But then that made everyone wonder who was Levy talking about. And if that was something Harris did not do, then where did that story come from? And if that story is even real. Turns out, Levy mixed up the names of the Alabama players he was talking about. In fact, all the story was true. It’s just that player was not Najee Harris.

Thanks to Sporting News as they highlighted who the player actually was, “It appears Levy got his Alabama players mixed up: Josh Jacobs, a former Crimson Tide running back who also dealt with homelessness in Oklahoma, actually did sleep on the floor during his first few months at Alabama.”
I got this part wrong Najee, my mistake. Your story is inspirational & mission to positively impact is admirable.
I’ll be donating to the Da' Bigger Picture Foundation and encourage others to help Najee’s greater purpose where they can.https://t.co/GlbxzRfXSD

The site also backs up the Jacobs story with a Bleacher Report article claiming the same. And so with that being said, it can be concluded that Levy was clearly mixed up with two Alabama RBs live on TV, for which he apologized to Najee in his tweet.
