Why did Gronk retire?

Gronk tore a knee ligament, broke his forearm, and hurt his back. All that discomfort prompted him to retire, after the 2018 season, before he turned 30. However, he made a return to the game after his friend Tom Brady joined the Buccaneers. The duo played together for another two seasons. By that point, Gronk realized his body was ailing, and he needed more rest. Thus, he marked a conclusion to his playing days, probably with a wry smile.

He still fought. Battled like a warrior, nursed his injuries, and fought for his team. Sadly, his body eventually betrayed him and hindered him from maximum Gronking. However, the star icon can smile because he has created so many long-lasting memories in the minds of NFL fans.
