Appearing on the show, Brady talked about his experience with free agency before the start of the 2020 NFL season. The QB was let go of by the New England Patriots and ultimately joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

But apart from the Bucs, several other teams were interested in taking a chance with Brady as well. But one side backed up, and it’s something that Tom Brady took personally.

The snub prompted Brady to question the team’s decision-making and prompted him to say, “You’re sticking with the mother**ker?”.

This got the world talking. Who exactly was this quarterback that Tom Brady was referring to? Was it Jimmy Garoppolo of the 49ers? Or perhaps Mitch Trubisky of the Chicago Bears?

Ever since Tom Brady made the comment, sources have suggested that Derek Carr was likely the man he aimed the jibe at. But appearing on Brother from Another, Carr said that he believes he was not the quarterback Tom Brady was referring to.

“From what I know it wasn’t me, which is good,” Carr said. “I know you got the rings, but if it’s not me then we’re good. What I heard, it wasn’t me. And so I’m good with that,” he added.
