Trevor Lawrence is one of the hottest prospects to declare for the NFL draft in recent memory. Lawrence has drawn great hype through his play during his college football career and is the favorite to go number one overall on April 29. But he has been nursing an injury, one that has many fans and one particular franchise concerned.
NFL analyst Ian Rapoport shared an update concerning Trevor Lawrence. He noted that Lawrence would miss his medical examination today because he was getting married. Furthermore, he revealed that the Clemson star has been recovering well from his surgery in mid-February. While there is still a way to go in his recovery, Trevor Lawrence is on his way to getting back to full fitness.

This will be welcome news for the Jacksonville Jaguars who have made their intentions clear, and will (barring any circumstantial changes) make Trevor Lawrence the top draft pick. The Jaguars’ newly appointed head coach, Urban Meyer, did all but confirm that they are highly interested in the Clemson star, and he is the pick that they will build their franchise around.

The Jaguars will look to improve on their horrendous 1-15 run in the 2020 NFL season. They will seek to make the most out of the season’s silver lining, i.e. earning the right to pick the best college prospect.

His college football tenure saw him amaze fans and analysts of the sports with his incredible throwing range and mental acumen. The great potential of Lawrence has positively excited fans and analysts. However, any franchise will have to be careful with the Clemson star, as they cannot surround him with average players and expect him to work his magic from day one.
