The Pro Football Hall of Famer believes that without Rodgers as his QB, Adams might struggle next season. While talking to TMZ Sports recently, Favre states, “It’s just hard to shift gears, especially from a player as prolific as Aaron Rodgers…I’d be shocked if he had the same year.” The basis of Favre’s argument lies with his questions over Adams’ new teammate and starting QB Derek Carr.

While the reigning league MVP has a great track record in the NFL, Favre casts doubt over Carr’s ability to match Rodgers’ output in Wisconsin. He concedes that Carr is a very good QB and believes he might not aid Adams and his outputs on the field in games. The familiarity of playing in Wisconsin for 7 years is a huge factor for the former Packers wideout and believes that new surroundings will require his time to adjust.

However, the rumblings seem to help Adams and his decision to team up with his old Fresno State teammate. The trade saw the Packers acquire two NFL Draft picks this year in the 1st and 2nd rounds.
