The Seattle Seahawks are coming off a spectacular win. They defeated the Arizona Cardinals 28-21 after a solid team performance.

Being able to stop DeAndre Hopkins is no small task. Yet the Seahawks walked away with the victory after a game that came down to the wire.

The Seahawks started the game strong, establishing a 16-7 lead at halftime. However, Hopkins led the Cardinals on their comeback trail. But the finishing rally just wasn’t enough.

The Cardinals couldn’t stop the Seahawks from getting crucial field goals in the second half; the game consequently slipped out of their hands. For the Seahawks, this puts them on top of the NFC West rankings, building off their strong 7-3 start to the season.

Russell Wilson put on another fantastic display again. He completed 23 out of his 28 passes, with 2 important touchdowns. But it was an impressive defensive performance from the Seahawks line that won them the game.

Carlos Dunlap ended the game with an impressive last-second sack on Kyler Murray to seal the victory for the Seahawks.

Carlos Dunlap credits his defensive line

Seahawks’ defensive end Carlos Dunlap spoke to the press in his post-game interaction. Dunlap said that he was imagining playing to the crowd as much as he could.

“I was just visualizing being on this side with the 12, versus against the 12 in my previous occurrences. I’m always one to get the crowd involved.”

For Carlos Dunlap, it was important that the defense provide opportunities, especially in shutting down the threat of DeAndre Hopkins.

“As a defensive line, we think the sky is the limit. We continue to get guys back healthy and get in a rhythm. When the offense gives us opportunities and the coverage is that good, they shut down Hop (Hopkins) all game.
